Name Origin	For her surname, the first kanji means "sickbed or padding" and the second means "mountain." Her name was purposely spelled with her given name first, surname last as that is how it was given in the books.

Information: She was a famous hair stylist who became the youma Mitsuami. Minako brought Usagi in to get her hair done, hoping the change would cheer her up. In reality, the salon was being used to discover who Sailor Moon really was so the Dark Kingdom could claim the Silver Crystal. Because Minako had been brushing Usagi's hair earlier she had a piece of her hair on her and when they anylized it they thought Minako was Sailor Moon. This was the first time Tuxedo Kamen fought against the Sailor Soldiers as an agent of the Dark Kingdom. After the battle, Kariko was scanged back to normal as were all her employees.

Countess Rose ( )

Name Origin	The katakana "roozu" refers to the word "rose." The first two kanji after her name means "count, earl" and the second two kanji given mean "madam, wife."

Information: Countess Rose became the youma Shakokai. She was holding princess seminars for young women to learn ettiquite and manners. In reality, the seminars were being used to discover who Sailor Moon really was so the Dark Kingdom could claim the Silver Crystal. Once again, the wrong Sailor Soldiers were assumed to be Sailor Moon and Shakokai was defeated, returning the countess back to normal.

Yamamoto, Saeko ( )

Name Origin	For her surname, the first kanji means "mountain" and the second means "origin." For her given name, the first kanji means "be cold, be clear" and the second means "child."

Information: Yamamoto, Saeko became the youma Blizzar. She was the first Moon Princess Contest winner which was a skiing contest in the mountains. The idea was being used by Kunzite to discover the idenity of Sailor Moon, of course. Yuuichirou tried to stand up to the youma in order to protect Rei, but was easily taken down. Endymion, who was still working for the Dark Kingdom prevented the youma from hurting Sailor Moon and in effect, allowing her to defeat Blizzar. Saeko was returned to normal after that.

Name Origin	The word "janerin" is the Japanese approximation of the name Janelyn.

Information: She was a former Olympic medalist who became the youma Janelyn. Her parner Misha and her were not getting along very well and when she fell, he told her he might start looking for a new partner. Kunzite appeared and told them that they had to work for him. Usagi convinced her friends to go to the new skating rink because they [Janelyn and Misha] needed groups of five girls. The pair skaters were going to give special lessons for five girl groups. Janelyn became jealous when Misha took interest in Makoto, thinking he might really be looking for a new partner. The two transformed in youma and attacked. Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen (still evil) defeated the skating couple with skating moves of their own.

Name Origin	I have found that the katakana used for her name is used for the following names: Katarina, Katharina, and Catalina.

Information: She was an English police officer who became the youma Papillon. Minako (as Sailor V) met Katarina in England when both were persuing a criminal. Katarina was persuing because she thought he was a normal criminal, and Sailor V because he was actually a Dark Kingdom youma. After that, the two became very close and Minako looked to her as a big sister (onee-san). After she introduced Katarina to Alan, the two began to fall in love, though Minako was oblivious to this fact. When Minako and Katarina were after another criminal, Minako went in first. The guy threw a grenade and blew up the building. Katarina, who thought Minako had died, cried in the arms of Alan. It was then that Minako realized that the two were in love and she slipped away without letting them know she was alive, thinking it would be better that way for the couple. The Dark Kingdom used Katarina to get to Sailor V thinking she might be joined up with the Sailor Soldiers. After Katarina was returned to normal she apologized to Minako, saying she didn't realize her feeling for Alan. She said she had thought she was only a child, but Minako was happy that her two beloved people were happy.
