Look a Little Deeper
If you just look at the surface of a character you oftentimes miss some of the most important aspects they have to offer. If you look deeper you'll find the true person.

Mamoru is the the mature figure of the group and the only male main character of the Sailormoon anime [besides artemis, but he's a cat]. He seems more like a loner and appears to help the sailor soldiers when they are in most need of it instead of fighting the entire battles. Usagi and Chibi Usa are his only family so they are very important to him. He is always willing to give up his life to protect the ones he loves, his girlfriend [and future wife], Usagi and his future daughter Chibi Usa. Occasionally, he lets his serious side go and can actually be comical and when it happens it is usually quite funny. Mamoru dreams of being a doctor and studies hard for his goal. One funny fact about his dream is even though he dreams of becoming a doctor, he is afraid of getting injections. I am not laughing at his dream, it is just funny that a hopeful doctor is afraid of needles... kinda cute.

The Ups and Downs
Every person has their good points and their bad points. That goes for animated characters as well so I have make a little list to go over some of these points.

Character Pros: He is a very mature person. He is very smart. He seems to be very tolerant. He is a prince of the Earth. He looks good in a tuxedo.

Character Cons: He is manipulated or possessed easily. He can be very secretive.
