Look a Little Deeper
If you just look at the surface of a character you oftentimes miss some of the most important aspects they have to offer. If you look deeper you'll find the true person.

Her royal upbringing is apparent, as expresses a very regal air, but she is not a cold woman. She presents herself as a very calm person and has an unmistakeable compassion for people, both the moon people and earth people. Aside from her initial outward presentation of herself, you begin to see a caring and loving mother. The queen loved her daughter deeply, cares for her happiness. So much did this woman love her child that she sacrificed herself in order to give her daughter a second chance at life. Even after her death she managed to guide and help her child.

The Ups and Downs
Every person has their good points and their bad points. That goes for animated characters as well so I have make a little list to go over some of these points.

Character Pros: She was a kind and gentle ruler. She loved her daughter very much. Single-handedly, she pushed back the Dark Kingdom. She exchanged her life for the lives of her entire planet. Even in death, she's managed to help her daughter.

Character Cons: She was killed before the anime began so we don't see much of her. Um... if you know any other con's feel free to submit ^_^
