During an eclipse of the sun, a strange circus floats into the town of Juuban, Tokyo, but no one seems to take notice. The Dead Moon Circus was lead by Zirconia and their mission was to find Pegasus. It was learned that Pegasus would be hiding in the beautiful dream of a human and it was the job of the Amazon Trio () to find this person and capture Pegasus. After many failed attempts, Zirconia allowed the Amazones Quartetto () exterminate the Trio and take over. It was learned that Pegasus carried the Golden Crystal and that their ruler, Queen Nehellenia wanted this powerful item. With it she could break free of her entrapment and take over the Earth. The was thwarted by the Sailor Soldiers and returned to her banishment inside her mirror. Here, though trapped and in solitude, she could retain her false dream and remain beautiful and young forever.
