A new evil force has made it's way to the wintery Tokyo. Snow Queen Kaguya has invaded with her Snow Dancers and is determined to freeze the world, creating a shimmering, eerie silence. The Sailor Scouts fend off these creatures and the new scouts, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Mini Moon, make their first movie appearances. A glitch has been found in the Snow Queen's plan. A shard of her vessle has been lost and she cannot proceed without it. All becomes quiet as she searches for the piece. Little known to others, a scientist named Kakeru has come across it thinking it only to be a comet shard. This scientist also saves a fevered Luna from an oncoming car. He nurses the sick cat back to health and she inevitably falls in love with him even though he is human and already has a beloved. Poor Artemis ^_^;;

Kakeru reveals to Luna his belief in a princess being on the Moon named Kaguya. He feels like she is from the moon as well [good guess]. She also discovers that he is sick. He has become more so as the "comet shard" slowly steals his energy. His girlfriend and him have a terrible fight and Luna discovers that he is deeply in love with the woman. Even so she wishes to be able to love him as a human. The Snow Queen locates him finally and steals the shard. Since it is linked to his body it brings him even closer to death when it is taken away. Sailor Moon and the others fight the queen and destroy her with the legendary Ultimate Scouts' Power! Sailor Moon wishes hard and with the power of her crystal turns Luna into a human. Luna finally meets her love as a human and she takes him into space where he is able to see the sun rise over the Earth. He gives him the strength to live and also tells him to return to his true princess. He realizes she is Luna but she stops him before he can say this realization out loud. With a kiss, she sends him home and when he awakens, he returns to Himeko who has returned from space. It is a little love story based on Volume 11 of the manga.

New Characters Appearing in the Movie
	Himeko Nayotake - An astronaut who goes into space during the course of this movie. She is also the girlfriend of Kakeru. She does not believe in the existance of life on the moon and this causes some heavy fights between her and her beloved.
	Kakeru Oozora - A scientist who believes there are beings on the moon and a princess called Kaguya. He dreams of going into space and has doctorates in many fields but because of his illness he cannot realize his dream. Luna falls in love with him even though he has a girlfriend.
	Princess Kaguya - Yep, the cat guardian Luna is turned into a human for a little while at the end of this movie and she presents herself to Kakeru as Princess Kaguya. You just have to see it to believe it.
	Sailor Mini Moon - This is the future daughter of Sailor Moon and she is a sailor scout "in training". Here she is with the rest of the gang fighting evil in the name of the moon.
	Sailor Neptune - This is the scout of the deep sea planet making her first movie appearance. Her name is Michiru Kaio and is one of the three outer scouts.
	Sailor Pluto - This is the scout of the revolution and time planet making her first movie appearance. Her name is Setsuna Meio is one of the three outer scouts.
	Sailor Uranus - This is the scout of the far sky planet making her first movie appearance. Her name is Haruka Teno is one of the three outer scouts.
	Snow Dancers - The equivilant to the Monster-of-the-Day in the movie. They are sent out by the Snow Queen to freeze the Earth. They have the power to turn people into ice cubes and their mission is to freeze the Earth.
	Snow Queen Kaguya - She wishes to bring the Earth into a freezing silence. She fights against the Sailor Soldiers at the end of this movie but is destroyed by the legendary Silver Crystal Power.
