Moon Tour Guidelines
I bid you warm welcome to your Tour of the Silver Millennium. On your Tour, there will be certain guidelines that I, as your Tour Guide, as you to follow. Thank you for reading!

INFORMATION POLICY
Information here is primarily based on the Japanese anime of Pretty Soldier Sailormoon. There are smaller sections covering the Japanese manga, the English dubbed anime, the live action Pretty Guardian Sailormoon, and the Sailor V manga. However, this information is not mixed or jumbled together. Each of the versions are given their own section so as to not cause confusion. Remember that each version has it's extreme differences.

All spellings are taken directly from Japanese manga volumes 01-18, the five artbooks, materials collection book, and the Nakayoshi Anime Albums. Also, a great deal in translations and etymology have been researched and provided by Ian Miller. Without his enormous amount of help, a lot of the references in the anime and manga would have remained hidden from me.

All name spellings are also taken directly from Japanese manga volumes 01-18, the five artbooks, materials collection book, and the Nakayoshi Anime Albums. I present the Japanese script as well as the English equivalent of these names. If a name was provided by these sources already romanisized I will go with that source's spelling, despite the "proper" romanization. The creator's word on how it was intended to be written is why you will find Tenoh, Kaioh, and Meioh rather than Ten'ou, Kaiou, Meiou. It has appeared in many places within the manga and anime (example: Volume 11 ~ Lover of Princess Kaguya, first page after the inside cover. Volume 9, page 197. Anime episode 093, under Michiru's painting.). The arguement that the creator who chose these spellings is wrong does not work. There are editors and plenty of people who could have fixed it if it was not intended. The creator CHOSE that spelling and so I chose to believe what she wrote about her work.

Using Information: You can use the info on this site, but PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, at least do it in a creative way that shows you're not just using my hard work to your advantage. This is not a hard thing to do and it will give your page originality if you re-word it to your own style of writing. People like to see originality on the internet, not the same thing over and over. If you take a lot of information from this site, it would be nice to get a little credit for it since I did the research for it. More times than not people are "copy & pasting" information from this site and placing it on their pages as if it were their own written words. I can't stand this. PLEASE, you know the story so write it up yourselves. Don't copy mine unless you are quoting me and give me full credit for it. Writing this stuff up is time consuming. I don't like it when people cheat and just copy others instead of making an effort to do it on their own.

HTML Information: NO! I must ask that you do not take (steal) my layout designs and use them for your own. If you want a layout and are having trouble with it write me and maybe I can help you with your own design. This has become a big problem as of late. I am finding people are stealing my HTML information and using my layouts. Please don't. Don't copy-cat!

IMAGE POLICY
Pictures, images, or whatever you want to call them, they are here for you. Over a thousand are here for you to use for whatever you want. There are, however, some images I ask that you DO NOT take. Any images that are used I make a humble request for SOME CREDIT. Credit includes a link to my site and a note acknowledging you got those images from the Tour.

Web Graphics: Images that I ask you NOT to use are the ones I have made especially for The Tour which decorate the site. Most web site builders don't like when you steal their graphics and I am no different. Any pictures edited and/or used to decorate my pages are not available for use. That includes backgrounds, title images, pics of the Tour Guide, fanart used to decorate the site and, well, you get the idea. I have a section where you can pick up some free web graphics.

Fan Art & Commission Work: Any fan art on this site is strictly *OFF LIMITS* unless you acquire permission from the artist who drew the picture. There are e-mail addresses in which you may contact them and ASK FOR PERMISSION to use their work. This goes for my fan art as well. ASK ME FIRST. Generally, I like to know what it is being used for and I insist on getting credit because I take my art work seriously. This applies to images of the Tour Guide, pics in Fanart a la Moon, images in Glass Flower Art, or other fan art that I may post.

The Second Light: I don't know why you would want to use pictures from my fan fics, but this stuff is off limits, too. I know this sounds mean but if you are wishing to make a fan fic create your own characters and images. While it is flattering it is also plagerism. This may seem unfriendly, or selfish, but if you want to write a fan fiction, WRITE ONE, don't use other people's fics. If you want art of your character DRAW ONE. Don't edit my art for your 'new' character. My stories were written with the intent to entertain, not to be stolen or 'borrowed'. Thanks for understanding everyone.

Direct Linking: Also known as Bandwidth Theft or Leaching. It is a no-no! I DO NOT want you to direct link ANY of the images/graphics/midi from my sites. [direct linking is when you make a link on your site to a file from another person's page instead of uploading the image to your own site] It is a terrible inconvenience for the both of us as it makes both of our sites take longer to load. Nobody likes a slow-loading page. Also, you will be left with an ugly broken link since I block people from doing this. Just don't do it.

MUSIC/MEDIA POLICY
Okay, none of the MIDI files were created by me. Please use as you like but make sure you credit my site as the place where you downloaded the files from. The .MP3 sound clips of The Sailormoon Seiyuu section were all captured from video by me. They are not to be used on another website without permission from me and credit to my site. Please do not take all of them (that's a little rude) even if you use them. Thanks so much!

IN CLOSING
I hope you all don't think of me as a monster, but if you don't set up rules all chaos breaks loose on a page. It's true! It happens quite a lot. I honestly do not want to be taken advantage of, but then who does? Since building this page I have come across other sites that have plagerized, direct linked, or even stolen layout designs from my web site. This hurts. Most of things on this site were screen captured, scanned, drawn or created by me. I get roughly 90% of my info from what I learned from watching the anime and reading manga. The other percent comes from corrections from others who have resources that I don't (official guidebooks, etc). A heck of a lot of time and energy has gone into this site, eight years to be precise, as well as a lot of money on books, tapes, and such. So thanks for reading and hopefully respecting my requests. Please continue to enjoy the Tour.
