Minako screamed, jumping out of her seat in panick," Y-you must have made a mistake!" " I'll repeat the names," the old lady said sharply pushing her glasses up her nose," Rei, Mako, and Micheru." One of the three winners was bouncing up and down but the other two didn't act excited at all. Micheru never got excited so that wasn't surprising, but Rei should have been screaming with joy by now. Instead she sat still almost paralyzed with a look of shock in her eyes, and a huge grin plastered across her face. Minako was too upset to look at the winners. She lowered her head and trudged out of the studio silently. Once she was on the street she thought about what had just happened still not quite believing it. Minako began to remember the past months and the numbness was going away slowly. She had been working really hard for an audition, rehearsing all day and dreaming about it at night. Finally the day had arrived and she was ecstatic; the only problem was the fact that Rei and Micheru were also auditioning for the play. In the auditions she had done, what she had thought to be, perfectly. But then that lady had announced the names and both Rei and Micheru. She remembered exactly what she had said. The lady had screamed," Everyone, be quite!" and then had screeched all the winning names out, she remembered everything clearly and began to feel furious. Rei didn't deserve the part! She had worked harder and SHE deserved it! Minako swore that she would get revenge. She should have the part! And Minako would get even, even if she had to do something drastic. She stood there her eyes flashing and started laughing evilly. Suddenly a car ran into her and she fell unconscious. When she woke up she was in the hospital with people surrounding her. " She woke up!" one called. Minako sat up, screamed, laughed an evil laugh again, and ran out the door screaming horribly. The doctors looked out the door after her and mumbled in unison," I think she suffered some brain damage." Meanwhile, the insane Minako was rampaging around the city as Sailor Venus. Rei had still been sitting in the studio frozen until the janitor had, literally, kicked her out. She stood in front of the studio with her face still in the exact position it had been a couple of hours ago. Finally her smile returned to just a grin and she started looking for the other senshi so she could brag about her part. She was going to play Sleeping Beauty in the play Sleeping Beauty! Rei was going to find Minako first and tell her that she was Sleeping Beauty because she was pretty sure Minako hadn't heard that part yet. Suddenly Rei frowned, she knew Minako had wanted that part and might be the tiniest bit jealous. She sat there for a while and thought it over. Finally she decided she would go there act sorry and sympathetic for a little and THEN brag. She smiled triumphantly and continued looking. Minako was still rampaging when the senshi heard about a strange youma around town so they transformed and began to look for it. Ami was the one that had reported it. She said that all she had seen was a blond youma in an orange mini-skirt running in the streets laughing so loudly that she had to cover her ears. This strange creature puzzled everyone so they went out to find it and the other two senshi. They found Rei in the arcade looking for Minako and told her about the youma. She didn't listen though. She just started screaming about her audition and they momentarily forgot about everything else and stood there in Sailor suits chatting excitedly. Finally an innocent bystander ran up and started screaming about a blonde in a suit the same as theirs running in the road. "Minako!" they screamed in unison and ran out of the arcade leaving Rei behind babbling to thin air. They ran through the streets stirring up attention everywhere. " Look Mommy! More of those weird people in reeaaallllyyy sort skirts!" was the most common reaction to their actions. Finally they found Minako trying to mug somebody with her shoe. They ran up and Usagi started her speech," I am Sailor Moon! Champion of justice! I will right wrongs and triumph over evil, and that means...uh... while, uh...Let's just say I triumph over evil?" " As long as your speech is over!" Mars snapped at Sailor Moon. " You're mean!" Usagi cried and then started bawling. " Are we gonna fight this youma, I mean Minako or not!?" Makoto shouted at them. " I agree, Makoto. We need to stop fighting and start using the power of teamwork. We are the champions of justice after all!" Ami said, trying to be reassuring but making it a little to sickening. " Uh...okay, Ami," Rei replied looking at Ami weirdly," What are we going to do anyway? Send Minako to an insane asylum? I mean there's no youma just an insane Minako." " Well I can scan her with my computer! " Ami suggested hopefully. " And what is that going to do?" " I could get a better grasp on the situation!" Ami replied. " Why don't we just talk to her?" Usagi said. " Usagi, that's brilliant!" Ami cried," Where did you get such an idea?" " Um...I though of it?" " Come one! Are we going to stand here being brilliant or are we going to do something!" Makoto cried in exasperation. " Oh yes! Of course!" Ami said," I forgot about that!" " I'll go talk to her," offered Makoto. " Sure! That would be wonderful" Ami cried enthusiastically. " Um, Ami?" Rei asked " What Sailor Mars?" " Are you feeling ok?" " Of course I am! Why would I not be feeling fine?" " Um, never mind. Makoto why don't you go talk to Minako." " I would but I don't see her." " What are you talking about, Sailor Jupiter!" Ami replied excitedly. "Uh, Ami..." The sailors muttered in unison. To be continued!
