Author's Notes: Whoohoo! Shorter chapter! Anyway, I don't own Sailor Moon, etc... And I better just stop right there cause I just drank a not caffeine free pop. >)Special thanks to Naoko for creating Sailor Moon and to Hanson for inspiring me with their music for me to make these tramas I put Abby through. I'm so nice. ^^; Episode 3 It was the first Monday in February, two day's after the incident with Devon and the Death of Blaze. It was 7th period as I sat there in front of my computer in Tech Lab. Time was going so slow and my partner was pissed at me. You can guess who that is. Devon was avoiding me, I feel so bad; I don't know how to explain anything. Since Kayle wasn't talking to me I couldn't explain what was really going on inside my head and in my heart, I guess Devon is my next choice. I got up from my seat and walked over to him, I could feel Kayle's eyes burning a hole in the back of my head. "Devon." He slowly turned his head in my direction. His green eyes were icy again. "Can I talk to you, about last Saturday?" He nodded his head as his partner left to join another group of guys who were throwing pencils at each other. I sat down in the empty chair next to him. "I didn't mean to push you away like that...I just...I shouldn't have been with you. I betrayed a close friends and..." "Kayle." Devon said making me look up from the floor. I was hit off guard by how he was right but I guess it was really obvious. He didn't look cross anymore, but loving. "I understand." We both could feel the tension and our feelings for each other, it didn't have to be said. "Then you understand why I can't be around you." He nodded his head and went back to work on his station. I could tell he felt as hurt as I did. Forbidden love sucks. I walked over to Kayle and sat down. I knew she was looking at me but I didn't look at her. "You just couldn't stop there could you Abby? You just had to go over and talk to him in front of me after waht you've done!" I waited until she was done ranting and raving. "I told him to stay away from me and I would do the same." I waited for her answer, there came none. I could feel her quilt conscious growing. Jimeny Cricket was giving her a lecture on not to jump to conclusions. She hugged me and we got back to work on making 'widgets'. When I got home that day I felt much better but my heart still yearned to be with Devon. Something about him attracted me to him now. I just didn't know what it was. I lay in bed trying to think of a possible reason why I felt this was. "Would you stop thinking about Devon and turn off the DAMN LIGHT!" Queenie growled from her place on the bed. I looked at the clock. 1:00am? Shit! I turned off the light and went to bed. A beautiful princess danced around the gardens on this faraway land. It was bright and shimmery out like her silver hair as the sky sparkled around her palace. She didn't even know I was there and I hoped she wouldn't find out any day soon. If she did it would be V-babes head. It had been a good hour I've been wtaching her when he finally showed up. The one I was to report on. Tall, Dark, and handsome, no wonder the princess fell for him. His eyes shined the color of his planet as he took the princess in his arms. The way they looked and how they met in secret reminded me so much of my unrequited love. It wasn't right for me to be spying on the princess's joy and I silently left the scene. Maybe fate will smile on them and give them a chance to be together. The smile I wouldn't have. My alarm rang loudly in my head signaling it was 7:00am. Six hours of sleep isn't the best thing I've could have done. I rushed into my clothes and out the door to the bus. On my way out I hit Queenie off the bed for being so snotty last nigh. I yawned with sleepiness looking out the dirty window and into the white snow. Why wasn't life so pure white? I got into core a few minutes early. I put my things away in my desk and rested my head. I was still pretty groggy from not getting enough sleep. Maybe if I just rested my eyes..."Abby..." I jumped from the poke on my shoulder. "Wha...what?" I brushed my hair from my face. It was Devon looking concerned. "Are you okay?" He rested his hand on my arm. "Yeah I'm fine." I lied and pulled away as Kayle came in and took her seat. She was a bit happier today but not her usual perky self. Not that it made any difference but I was glad to see her feeling better. "Wanna go ice skating tonight Abby?" Kayle asked taking out her pencil. "Um, yeah sure." I replied still too sleepy to understand what the question was, something about ice. "Cool, see you there around five!" I nodded my head then went back into dreamland. I was more awake that afternoon when Kayle told me about how much fun ice skating was going to be. ("I said what?" I fell out of my chair.) I pulled on my hooded sweatshirt. I didn't plan on skating, actually I can't skate at all. Maybe Chrissy will be there and we can just stand around and talk. Well before I knew it I was down at the rink and on the ice. Kayle is very good at begging and looking disappointed. She started to skate around the rink. "Come on Abby!" "Na, I think I'll just hang on to the wall here." I replied gripping to the side for dear life. "Well okay." Kayle said and skated off. What am I getting myself into? I was having second thoughts of getting off the rink when his presences stopped me. A soft touch took my hand and wrapped his arm around my waist. "Just take it slow." That's Devon's light voice! "Devon?" I gasped and tumbled to the hard ice bringing him down with me. "Oops...sorry!" I just sat there, I felt so dumb. He smiled and sat there with me. It felt starnge then funny as we both began to laugh. "Okay maybe you shouldn't be on the ice." Devon said getting up and holding out his hand. "That's what I said but Kayle wouldn't listen to me." I replied taking his hand. It felt so warm and strong. He pulled me up close. I felt safe and seemed very familiar. Kayle skated by. "Hey Kayle." Devon said. "Come help me get this disaster off the ice." She skaet over and held my other arm as we went off the ice. I sat down on the bench. "Never again." I laid down. "Hehe, that's what you think!" Kayle laughed then turned to Devon. "So how have you been doing?" Oh no, Ms. Flirtatious was kicking in. "I've been better." He didn't seem to comfortable talking to her. "I see." Kayle said. "You wanna go back out and skate?" "Na, I think I'll rest a bit." "Well okay." Kayle said hinting for him to join her. She gave up and left. Devon picked up my head and sat down the laid it back down on his lap. "Skate often?" I laughed. "What do you think Sherlock?" "Gee, from what I gather Watson, no." He started running his fingers through my hair. I relaxed then tensed up. Wasn't I not supposed to be doing this. I sat up and tucked my hair behind my ear. "Kayle first." I whispered. Devon nodded his head then got up and left. As I began to wonder if Kayle was being selfish, or if I was, screams rang throught out the rink. "Not again." I groaned and got up to find a place to transform. "So many Star Seeds, so little time to collect." The lady sighed and began retrieving the seeds. She turned my direction. "Trying to escape?" "Huh?" I said turning my head. A small whispy hand tried to make a grab for my chest, where my Star Seed is. I ducked out of the way. "Little Miss Uncooperatice are we?" She smirked. "No mater, I'll just destroy you!" "Water Slerpant Mist!" A cloud of mist swarmed around me. The air was so heavy with water droplets I couldn't breath. Someone picked me up and dragged me out of the cloud. "Come on Abby! Breath!" Devon shook me. My vision was hazy. The Lady came and grabbed him and knocked him into a wall. She said something I couldn't hear. ("Sorry Garnet but it would look syspicious if I didn't. I hope it didn't hurt too much.") I stood up. "Who are you?" The lady looked at me with, if I wasn't mistaken, jealous eyes. "I am Princess Mist, devoted to Sailor Galaxia." She looked down on me. What's it to you?" I didn't know what to say. How do you answers a question like that and not give yourself away? "Abra...get out of here!" Devon yelled hoarsely from the floor. This made Mist even madder. "Water Slerpant..." She held out her arm. A blast ripped through the air and cut her arm. She turned around abruptly. "Who ddi that?" Sh eylled. "I'm not going to take any chances of an ambush." Mist fled back to wherever she had been from. I rushed to my hands and knees. "Devon are you alright?" I propped him up against me. Geze guys are heavy. "Yeah, I'm fine." He replied looking up at me. "Abby..." Kayle. "I'll be right back." I whispered in his ear and went into the rink. I slipped a few times but finally made it to Kayle. "Come on Kayle, let's get you up." She smiled from her sprawled position on the floor. I tried hard not to laugh at her since Mallie's toung was right nect to her head. She took out her messed up buns when we finally had got her up. "You know Abby, if it makes you happy, you can be with Devon." She gave me a side-glance. "Really?" "Of course Shields." She pushed me to the opening of the rink. "Go to him. I'll try and get Mallie up." SH ecovered her mouth. "Did I just say I wanted to get Mallie up?" I laughed and walked back over to Devon who was sitting up against the wall. I sat down next to him and laid my head on his shoulder. "So what are you doing Friday night?" Devon's jaw dropped open.
