Disclaimer: I don't own Sailor Moon etc...All new soldiers, guardians, enemies do belong to me. Washington belongs to Washington and the Constitution, well you get my drift. This is also a short chapater, who knew. I'm tired, haven't had my caffenie, good night. Episode 4 I have been going out with Devon for a week. I feel so warm and safe being around him and Kayle seems to be okay with what's going on. I've met my other half, or maybe just a temporal helf. Well whatever it is I'm just happy to be with him. We were leaving the old fashion soda foutain down on the avenue when I thought I saw the very familiar streaked blonde hair. I was praying I hadn't, I didn't want to fight. Not now, not with Devon. I haven't all week and I hoped not to start. I was beging to enjoy the sereinty of this dull place. "Are you okay?" Devon asked linking his arm around my waist. "Yeah I'm fine." I looked back at the bushes where I thought she was. It looked like an ordinary bush, it didn't move, and it wasn't talking. Come on Abby, nothings there. "Are you sure? You look like you're out in space." He looked worried. He's so cute when he's worried. "Yeah I'm sure." I replied. "I was just thinking of something. "What were you thinking?" "Oh nothing really." I answered. How do I cover this up? "Just about the ice rink and where that energy could have come from." Devon grew very quiet. "Devon?" He turned distant. Was it something I said? "Oh sorry, well whatever it was I'm glad you're safe." He hugged me. "Yeah." Is there something he's trying to hide from me? "Garnet!" Mist yelled coming into the corridor. "What do you think your doing hanging around that human? She raced up to him and looked strait into his green eyes. "What's it to you?" He looked down at Mist. "What's it to me? How about what is it to Galaxia and your pledge of loyalty?" Garnet didn't speak for a moment. "She can take me to large groups of Star Seed holders and I can learn more about human." He stood firm. Mist gave a sarcastic look. "Yeah, that's it, you want to learn about humans so much you kissed her the other day." "Were you spying on me?" Garnet said enraged. "What business is it to you what I do with Abra?" "Oh! So it's not even "the human" anymore, it's Abra." Mist waved her hands about. "Just think of this Garnet!" Mist pointed her finger and poked his chest. "What will Galaxia think about having a traitor as her lead general in this operation?" "I'm not a traitor!" Garnet growled. "Alright then! Prove it! Go down and attack her!" "That's your job not mine. I don't do the grunt work!" Garnet spat in Mist's face and left the corridor. "Wel if I can't change the traitor then I will just have to get rid of the one who changed him." Mist left the corridor in a mass of mist with a grin on her face. "Okay. Here I am. Waiting in the park." I sat down on the bench. "Are you sure he's coming?" Queenie asked from the ground. "Yeah, it was his voice on the phone. He wouldn't stand me up." Or would he? I've been waiting in the park for a good twenty minutes. Devon called me earlier telling me to meet him in the park. Where could he be? "My, my. It's the little girl who escaped me last time." I turned around to face Mist. Her chin rested on her fingers. "Well you wont this time!" She raised her hand to strike me. "Get ready." Queenie growled down by my feet. I nodded my head. "Earth Crystal..." "STOP!" Garnet yelled appearing from the sky. "Mist, you don't know what you're doing!" "I know perfectly what I'm doing!" Mist yelled back. "I'm killing the problem before she totatly turns you good!" "I don't know what you're talking about!" Garnet yelled back now on the ground. 'Before she totaly turns you good.' What's that supposed to mean? "You know perfectly what I'm talking about! Those hugs, the kisses, the way you look in her arms, you're in love with a human!" Mist wiped a tear away. "I won't stand for it!" "Mist, it's not like...I mean...I didn't know..." Garnet stammered. "What were you doing spying on me!" Hugs...kisses...in my arms? No! It can't be! Not Devon! I've been with the enemy! "I thought something was odd with him." "Shut up Queenie." "It doesn't mater anymore! Once I get rid of her you'll be back to your normal self again." She walked over to him and placed her arms around his shoulders. "You won't be possessed with such vulgar thoughts and feelings." She kissed his check. "We can be together like we were ment to be." "Get off of him!" I yelled waving my arms. "Oh shut up!" Mist yelled and fired an energy beam at me. It knocked me to the ground. I couldn't think, speak, or hear. I knew someone was trying to talk to me, they kept nudging me on the shoulder. "Abra!" Garnet yelled running to my side. "Wake up please!" Queenie cried in my ear. Mist was taken back as the tears began to flow down her check. "How could you let a human come bewteen us?" "There never was an 'us'!" Garnet yelled. "I can't imagine why Galaxia even took you as a soldier!" "What do you mean?" Mist pleaded. "What are you talking about?" "What I'm talking about is you're self absorbed, vain, ignorit, slut, nosey, annoying bitch!" "NO! You're wrong!" Mist screamed. "You know nothing about me!" She sobbed. "I know enough that I don't like you!" Garnet yelled Mist began to pulse with anger. "It's all because of her! If it wasn't for that bitch we wouldn't be separated like this!" She wiped a tear away. "I won't let her get away with this! Foaming Water Serepent!" A large snake type animal swarmed from Mist's twirling body and advanced on me. "No!" Garnet yelled holding me in his arms and faced his back to the creature. "No!" mist yelled running from behind the serpent. She stepped in front of it. "STOP!" It kept going. "I SAID STOP GOD DAMMIT!" It kept coming. It hit her strait on. Agonizing cries woke me from my slumber. "Mist?" Garnet said shakily laying me down softly then turning to her. Her eyes fluttered. "Garnet..." She chocked. The serpent had entered her mouth causing her lungs to fill with water. She's drowning. "I just..." "Shhh, it's okay." Garnet said. "I just...wanted to be with you..." Mist finished smiling then turned her head. Her soul was onto the final resting place in Zero Sagittarius. A small blue butterfly fluttered into the clear blue sky into the clouds and the great beyond. "Mist..." Garnet whispered. I rose holding my head. It was still fairly foggy. "Devon..." He came to my side holding me in his arms. "I'm right her." I turned to face him seeing Garnet, but Devon's bright eyes. "Just making sure." I replied. I fell back asleep. I woke up in my bed. The sun was in my eyes and I turned over. "Abby..." Queenie said softly jumping up next to me. "Are you feeling better?" Her eyes were filled with heavy pain. "Yeah." "You know..." Queenie began. "You can't be with Devon anymore." "Why not?" I yelled and turned to her side. She bounced with the shift of the bed. "Because he works for the enemy. He was born into the world of darkness. It wouldn't work. There's no way a relationship between good and evil can stay stable." She looked purely hurt to tell me this but I didn't notice. "But you said Serenity and Endymion..." "That's different. They were both good but caught in a fight bewteen families. A Romeo and Juliet scenario." "Well this is a Romeo and Juliet scenario!" "No it's not!" Queenie raised her voice. "Just trust me Abby, It won't work." She frowned the stalked out of the room. "You're wrong!" I yelled after her. I turned back over with my back against the noon sunshine. She has to be wrong! Doesn't she?
