Epilog


	The cool summer breeze sweeps across my skin slightly cooling me
off. It's late May, June starts tomorrow. Only three more weeks of
school. Softball practice just got over as I sit here on the green
grass, the same as those bright eyes. Hopefully we'll make state then
to international. How cool that would be. I crossed my legs smilling.
	Only a few months ago I had died in that stone room with final
memories of Serenity. How gorgess she is, will I ever be that pretty?
I still wonder what happened after I had left my body. And I still
wonder why Devon was reborn. Don't get me wrong, I love Devon and I'm
glad he's alive but why? I scratched my forehead. He was born evil and
will always be born to darkness everytime. So why did the Guardian let
him be reborn. Was it because I loved him? Was it because fate is
finally smiling on us?
	A red rose sprang in front of my nose allowing me to inhale it's
sweet sent. I smiled taking it away from my face. "Hey there." Devon
said sitting down next to me. His arm draped on my shoulder with that
goofy smile. "Ready to go?"
	"Yes." I replied getting up with my rose. Devon picked up my
things as we headed away from the collage where I practice.
	"You cold?" He asked looking at my sweaty face.
	"Oh yeah, really cold." I replied nudging his shoulder.
	"Just checking." He smiled. I smiled back touching hte pearl he
had left me that sad day. Now I know who he was reborn. He loves me,
an emotion only those with golden hearts can feel.
