PART FOUR- The Earth Crystal

	" Lita, wake up!" a voice cried. " Please wake up, Lita!!"
	Lita opened her eyes. Serena was staring down at her, tears in her eyes.
	" She's awake!" Rini said happily.
	Lita clutched her chest. " Is it... gone?" 
	Michelle nodded sadly. " They took your crystal," Michelle said. " Now they only need one more."
	" Not unless we get the crystals back from them!" Amara said.
	" Not likely, Amara," Trista said. " They are so powerful now. All they have to do is point a gun, and bam! They have the crystal."
	" And they only need one more," Mina said, slowly looking towards Amara. " The Earth Crystal."
	" Over my dead body!" Amara yelled. " They will not get me!"
	" What ever happened to the others who wanted the crystals?" Lita asked wearily.
	" Lita, don't worry about anything now," Serena said. " You need to rest."
	There were three hurried knocks on the door. Michelle was about to open it when Raye and Amy burst in.
	" Lita! Lita!" Raye said running towards the couch. " Oh no!"
	" We knew something was wrong," Amy said. " Lita doesn't just hang up phones on people."
	Lita smiled. " Guys... you came." She looked down. " I feel so helpless and weak now..."
	" Welcome to the club," Raye said. " Now you know how I feel..."
	" Don't you worry, Lita," Amy said. " Everything will be OK. You lasted the longest out of all of us."
	" I'm next," Amara said glumly. Michelle put a hand on her shoulder, and they both stared out the window.

	Utonium slammed his fist down on the table. " They've gotten another crystal!"
	" We should exterminate them once and for all!" Rob said fingering the Fire Crystal.	
	The door suddenly whipped open.
	" The Element Sailors are here!"
	Harriet jumped out and snatched the crystal.
	" Hey, what the hell?!" Utonium said.
	" Haha, payback time," Gina said. She threw a bag at them. " Merry christmas!" They all ran away.
	" Scoundrels!" Rob yelled. Utonium looked at the bag in horror.
	It exploded. The lab was destroyed, and with it, Rob and Dr, Utonium.
	" We did it!" Kiara said happily. Renee smiled.
	" They deserved it," she said.
	They all shook hands, and went away.

	Raye walked to the temple with Lita and Amy. Chad was sweeping the stairs.
	" Hey, ladies," Chad said. " How are you?"
	" Fine," Lita said, though she felt horrible.
	" Gosh, Lita, you look zoned out," Chad said. " Do you want some tea?"
	" No thanks," Lita said. " But thank you for offering."
	Amy put a reassuring hand on Lita's shoulder. " You might feel empty at first. But trust me, the hole will be filled."
	" Serena may be a little... klutzy... but she can do it," Raye said. " She'll retrieve the crystals. Now that we have Amara, Trista, and Michelle's help, we can do anything!"
	" Amara is the next target though," Lita said. " We can count her out..."
	Amy snapped her fingers. " I got it!" Lita and Raye looked at her.
	" Remember when Mina suggested we used a decoy crystal?" Amy said. 
	" You're not thinking-" Raye began.
	" They will never believe we just left it on the table," Lita said for Raye.
	Amy shook her head. " No, no, I wasn't thinking of a crystal, I was thinking more along the lines of people." Raye and Lita stared at her. " This is my plan."

	The scouts had a meeting.
	" I get it!" Rini said. " And I volunteer!"
	Amara stood up. " No," Amara said. " As much as I love the idea, I will not let Rini be my decoy!" 
	" Rini, do you know how painful that gun is?" Lita said. " In order to take this part, you'll have to be shot many times."
	Rini frowned. " I could do it just as well as any of you!" she yelled. " I'm even tougher, too!"
	All eyes turned upon Serena.
	" Serena, it's your choice," Michelle said. " Since you are her future mother."
	Serena looked down.
	" Come on, Serena!" Rini said. " I can handle it!"
	" Oh... alright," Serena said. " But Rini... be careful."
	Rini smiled happily as Amara sat down.
	" Our plan starts tonight, at the arcade," Amy said. " I heard that Sailor Water goes there every night at 7 since she loves the Sailor V game."
	Mina smiled.
	" That is where Amara and Rini come in," Amy said. " You guys know what to do, right?"
	They both nodded. " I remember," Rini said.
	Amy nodded. " None of the scouts will come," she said. " We cannot risk it, it will look to obvious that this is fake. It is better if they go alone."
	Amara put a hand on Rini's shoulder. " I will do my best to protect you from getting shot at all." 	Rini smiled.

	It was 7 'o clock. Rini and Amara were playing the racing game. Amara suddenly stopped, causing Rini to win.
	" I win! I win!" Rini said happily. Amara pointed towards the blue haired woman entering the arcade. She sat by a game next to theirs. 
	" She's here," Amara said. She nodded her head to signal their start.
	" I want to thank you, Amara," Rini said.
	" What for?" replied Amara.
	" For pretending to have the crystal," Rini continued. " It's nice of you to pretend that you have the Earth Crystal."
	" I don't want you getting hurt," Amara said in her serious tone. She noticed that Kiara had stopped playing the game and was listening intently.
	" I know... those Element sailors won't get me." She giggled. " They'll think your me for the whole time!" She giggled again. " But it must be tough..."
	" Yes, that gun looks powerful... Lita seemed in great pain."
	Rini nodded. " It's brave of you to take this for me," she said.
	And with that, Kiara left.
	Amara looked down. " Well, done, Rini," she said. " I wish you the best."
	Rini smiled. " Amara, don't worry." She got up and walked out. But before she did, she winked, and gave Amara a thumbs up.

	Kiara rushed into the sailors control room.
	" We have been fooled!" she shouted. They all stared at her.
	" What do you mean?" Gina said.
	" Sailor Uranus is not the holder of the Earth Crystal," Kiara explained. " It is Sailor Mini Moon!"
	Their jaws dropped. " How did you find this out?" Harriet asked.
	" I was at the arcade, and they were talking about it," Kiara explained. 
	" Then tonight we enter the Tsukino household," Gina said simply. " Anyway, Sailor Uranus looked too tough to have such a crystal." She pinpointed the house on a map. " We shall meet there on midnight." 
	There was nothing more to say.

	Rini and Serena were sleeping, Luna sleeping at their feet.
	The door slowly creaked open as Gina walked into the room.
	Luna's eyes flew open, and they went wider when she saw Gina. Gina turned in horror as she saw Luna get up.
	" Nice kitty..." she said. " Go back to sleep, kitty..."
	Luna growled at her. Gina took out the gun. " Sorry, kitty..."
	She shot out a blast, making Luna hit hard against the wall. She passed out.
	Rini woke up. Her eyes went wide.
	" Hello, Mini Moon," Gina said evilly. The three other sailors jumped behind her, Renee slower than the rest.
	Rini cringed against the wall. Usually she would've transformed and blasted her with her Pink Sugar Heart Attack (if it worked) but it was part of the plan to act scared. It made her look more vulnerable.
	Kiara and Harriet jumped at Rini and sent her through the window. She landed roughly on a tree. The other sailors darted onto the tree. Renee stayed inside.
	Harriet and Kiara grabbed Rini's arms. Gina put the gun next to her heart. She shot out a blast.
	Rini screamed in pain, almost passing out.
	Gina looked around, frustrated. " Where the hell is the crystal?!"
	" Maybe you missed," Kiara said.
	" I doubt it!" Gina snapped.
	" Try again," Harriet suggested.
	Gina shot another shot. Rini screamed in pain. Gina kept on shooting and soon Rini had no energy to scream. 
	Renee watched in horror as Rini was hit by the gun. Tears started flowing from her eyes.
	" STOP!!!!!" Renee yelled, jumping into the tree. She tore Rini from Harriet and Kiara's grasp and held her.
	" Renee, what are you doing?!" Gina yelled. " Move away from her!"
	Renee shook her head. " Can't you see?! She obviously doesn't have the crystal! Leave her be!"
	Gina stared at her in shock. " We've been tricked."
	" Rotten sailor scouts!" Kiara yelled.
	" What we're doing is wrong!" Renee yelled. This made the sailors silent.
	" Since when is our mission wrong?" Gina said after a while.
	" It's not our mission that's wrong... it's the way we're approaching it..." Renee explained as she put Rini back into bed. " We're making it seem as if we are just as evil as Dr. Utonium and Rob." She looked towards Rini. " We're hurting innocent people who don't deserve this... I know the sailor scouts would help us if we just asked!"
	" Yeah, right!" Harriet said. " Those rotten brats have been against our plan from day one."
	Renee shook her head. " No, that's not true! We made them against it! Wouldn't you be against it too if someone attacked you like that?"
	They were silent. Rini popped up in the window despite her injuries.
	" We can't," Gina said simply.
	" Well then, I won't help either," Renee said. She jumped out of the tree and slowly walked away.
	" Traitor!" Gina yelled. Harriet and Kiara fell silent. 
	" Maybe we should go now," Harriet said.
	" Alright," Gina said. " But tomorrow we get the Earth Crystal. No buts." She jumped out of the tree, into the van.
	Rini ducked from the window, and collapsed into bed.

	Renee walked along the streets. She could not return home. She did not believe in their mission anymore, and she couldn't face the other sailors.
	" They wouldn't accept me back," she said. Tears welled up in her eyes. " We promised our mission would always be good... but now we've made it evil."
	She wandered around, letting her body move without thinking. She ended up in Lita's apartment building. She slowly made her way up the stairs, into Lita's apartment.
	She collapsed on Lita's couch, crying silently. She slowly fell asleep.

	Serena woke up to see a battered and bruised Rini lying next to her.
	" Oh my god, Rini!" Serena yelled, suddenly wide awake. Luna finally regained conciousness on the floor. " Luna!! What happened?!"
	Luna jumped onto the bed to Rini.
	" The Element sailors! They came and attacked Rini!" Luna said. " And of course, you slept through it all!"
	Serena shook Rini awake. Rini groaned and opened her eyes.
	" Serena..." she moaned.
	" Rini, what happened?" Serena asked.
	" Sailor Forest... she saved me..." Rini said simply.
	Serena looked at Rini, sympathy on her face. " No, Rini..." she said. " Sailor Forest is bad... along with the rest of them."
	Rini shook her head. " No... she saved me... I saw..." she said.
	Serena sighed, but Luna said, " I think she's right."
	" But, Luna... how could it be?" Serena said.
	" I don't know," Luna said. " But I think she is telling the truth."

	Lita walked into her kitchen, tired. She made her way to the couch and sat down with her breakfast. She sat straight up when she felt something beneath her. She screamed.
	It was Renee.
	" Uhhh....." Renee groaned as she got up. She woke up to see Lita over her, a chair in hand. It was raised above her head.
	" Don't move!" Lita said. " What are you doing here?!"
	Renee smiled widely when she saw Lita. She jumped up and hugged her, tears streaming from her eyes. " Oh, Lita..."
	Lita put the chair down, sympathy filling her heart. She stroked Renee's head.
	" Renee, what happened?" she said softly. " Why are you here?"
	Renee broke off from Lita and rubbed her eyes. " Oh, god, Lita, I'm so scared..." she said.
	Lita smiled and motioned Renee to the couch. " C'mon, Renee, tell me all about it."

	The phone rang. Amara ran to pick it up.
	" This is Amara speaking, how may I help you?" she said.
	" Hi, Amara, it's Lita," Lita said on the other line.
	Michelle went to the phone, followed by Trista.
	" Who is it?" Michelle asked.
	" Lita," Amara said. She went back to the phone. " Hey, Lita, what's up?"
	" Listen, I have Renee over here..." Lita said.
	Amara's eyes went wide. " We'll be right there!" she yelled. She hung up the phone.
	" Wait!!" Lita said, just as the phone hung up.
	" Come on, guys," Amara said, taking out her henshin stick. " Scout business. Uranus Planet Power!"
	Michelle nodded. " Neptune Planet Power!"
	" Pluto Planet Power!" They turned into the three Outer scouts. They all piled into Amara's car and sped off.

	A sweatdrop formed on Lita's head as she hung up the phone.
	" Um, Renee?" she said. " Don't be surprised if they come in doing World Shaking or something."
	Renee smiled. " I don't mind," she said. " It would be a normal reaction for them."
	Lita picked up the phone again. " I have to call the rest of the scouts now. It'll only take a moment." She picked up the phone and dialed Serena's number.
	" Hey, Serena," Lita said. " Listen, I have a guest over here I wanted you to meet her. Bring the other scouts too." She hung up the phone before Serena could ask any questions.
	" Just in case they think the wrong thing," Lita explained as she sat down next to Renee. Renee nodded.
	Suddenly, the door burst down. Amara, Michelle, and Trista burst in.
	" Don't move!" Michelle shouted. " Lita get out of the way!"
	Lita started laughing. " Guys, calm down. This is just a misunderstanding."
	Trista looked at Lita. " But... you said..."
	" I didn't mean she was evil," Lita said with a chuckle.
	Renee stood up. " I apologize for everything we have caused you. Me and my sisters-"
	" Your sisters?!" Amara said in shock. " You are all sisters?"
	" Yes," she said. " Please give me a chnace to explain our mission."
	" We all know," Amara said. " You believe that the Holder of the Elements is your leader and you wish to find her."
	Renee nodded. " That is what the legend says."
	" We would've helped," Trista said. " Why did you take it from such a violent point of view?"
	" Betrayal..." Renee said. " We are afraid of betrayal."
	" Your mission sounds good enough," Michelle said. 
	" I am very sorry for all the suffering we put you through," Renee said. " But the worst part is that they are coming for the Earth Crystal today." She looked at Amara. " They will find you."
	" Not if I can help it!" Amara said angrily.
	Lita put a hand on Amara's shoulder. " We won't let them," she said. " Not until they realize how wrong they are." Amara nodded.
	Renee stood up. " I'll help!"
	" Did you bring the crystals by any chance?" Trista said.
	Renee shook her head. " I ran away right after we left the Tsukinos."
	Trista opened her mouth in shock. " Small Lady! Is she alright?!"
	" She's pretty badly beat up..." Renee said sadly. " I hope she's OK..."
	There was a knock on the door. The scouts came in, even Amy and Raye and Darien. Rini was in his arms.
	" Oh! Rini!" Renee said rushing up to her. Darien pushed her away roughly. 
	" Don't you dare touch her!!" he yelled.
	" Darien calm down!" Lita said, going to Renee's aide. " She comes in peace."
	Serena came forward. " She's... not evil?"
	" My sisters were never evil..." Renee said. " Do not think so badly of them!"
	Darien put Rini on the couch. " I'm sorry, Renee."
	" Forgiven," Renee said. " But we have more important things to worry about. My sisters are coming for the Earth Crystal. We will not let them get it."
	" Never!" Mina said.
	" I believe it is best for the other crystal holders to be like medics through out the battle," Renee said.
	" Battle?!" Serena said.
	" Yes, a battle would be necessary to show how wrong they are," Renee said. " Amy, Raye, and Lita will help those injured, and will make sure Rini is safe, while making sure they don't get hurt themselves."
	Amy, Raye, and Lita nodded.
	" The other scouts will then try and protect Amara at all costs while firing attacks," Renee continued. " They will probably have the other crystals with them, so, try if possible to get them."
	" But... what will happen if all the crystals are put together?" Mina asked.
	Renee shrugged. " I don't know. But once the crystals are out, they cannot be returned inside the body." She sat down, and put her head in her hands.
	Raye sat down next to Renee. " Are you telling us that you are against the mission?"
	Renee looked up. " I want a leader as much as they do. But... look what we're doing. Our leader would be ashamed at what we have done. I'd rather not face that." She wiped a tear. " We should get in positions now."
	" OK, medics in the bedroom!" Lita announced. " Take Rini there too. Everyone else transform!"
	Lita and Amy ran into the bedroom, and Raye followed with Rini. The others transformed.
	" Moon Cosmic Power!"
	" Venus Star Power!"
	" Uranus Planet Power!"
	" Neptune Planet Power!"
	" Pluto Planet Power!"
	" Forest Power!" They all transformed.
	Just in time, too. The door burst down in flames, and the three Element soliders stood behind it, their weapons ready.
	" Well well well," Gina said. " The little traitor siding with the enemy?"
	" It doesn't have to be like this!" Renee said.
	" Do you think they'll forgive us that easily?" Harriet said. " It's too late now!"
	" They forgave me!" Renee said. " If we would've asked from the start they would've helped out!"
	" We don't think so," Kiara said. " A crystal is a hard thing to give up." She loaded the Crystal Snatcher 2000. " It's a lot easier this way."
	Kiara shot a blast at Amara. Renee pushed her out of the way.
	" Venus Love Chain Encircle!" Mina yelled. She whiped out at Kiara, and she dodged it.
	Harriet started letting out a chain of fire balls at the scouts. They flew around the room, missing the scouts by inches.
	Kiara went around wildly with her gun, hoping she would hit Amara through all the attacks. The other scouts got hit a few times, but since they were not crystal holders, nothing happened but pain.
	Soon, Amara was cornered with Amara. The other scouts were oblivious to this, except for Renee.
	" So, it's over now," Kiara said.
	" Your heartless!" Amara spat.
	" NO!" Kiara yelled. " If you were betrayed by everyone you met, wouldn't you be like this too?! All they wanted was our leader's pwoer! You probably do too! You've manipulated Renee!"
	" That's not true!" Amara said. " We would've helped you even if we didn't know about the power!"
	" Yeah right!" Kiara yelled. She shot out a blast, but Renee stood in front. She screamed in pain, along with Amara. The blast had gone right through Renee into Amara. The room went silent as they both fell, and the Earth Crystal floated in the air.
	Kiara gasped. " RENEE!!!" She fell to her fallen body. " Oh, god, I am so sorry!" Harriet and Gina rushed to Renee's side. The three other crystals flew out of Gina's bag, and hovered around the Earth Crystal.
	Renee looked up. " It's happening..."
	Michelle helped Amara up and they all watched.
	A bright light shone, as the crystals formed into one. The new crystal shone with reds, yellows, greens, and blues. 
	" Our leader will appear now!" Gina said in a hushed tone.
	Suddenly, Amara's eyes went blank and she floated towards the crystal. Amy, Raye, and Lita floated out of the room, their eyes blank as well. 
	A red light flashed down upon Raye. It shone brightly, and as it parted Raye stood there with a red princess dress, and the sign of Mars on her forehead.
	A new light, this one blue, shone down on Amy. As it parted, she too, was in a princess dress that was blue. The sign of Mercury appeared on her forehead.
	Green flashed upon Lita, her wearing a green princess dress as it parted. She wore the sign of Jupiter upon her forehead.
	Lastly, yellow shone down upon Amara. She appeared in a princess dress, and the sing of Uranus on her forehead. 
	They all closed their eyes as their elements flew into the crystal. They then collapsed to the floor.
	A light dust flew over all the scouts, all of them appearing into their Princess dresses. Rini walked out, accompanied by Darien. Sudenly, a burst of pink light shone through the room.
	The Holder of the Elements was to be revealed.
