It was written in play format. It was written as a parallel end to the Sailor Stars ending supposing that the Sailor Starlights had stayed on Earth with their princess. The four of them open a cafe where they sing and serve for the guests. It was written for all you fans to enjoy and I hope it enhances your experience at the Mini Mall of Crystal Tokyo. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- SCENE 1: Tsukino Usagi walks into the cafe arm-in-arm with Mamoru Chiba, her fiancee, and notices a crystal podium. It almost glows from the colorful lights that flash here and there. They approach it and are greeted by a red haired woman. Usagi: Kakyuu-hime, what are you doing here? What is this place? Kakyuu-hime: This is the Starlight Cafe, we have opened this place here on Earth while we are visiting. Usagi: Amazing. It is so beautiful in here. Mamoru: Yes, I would hardly call it a cafe. It is huge. Kakyuu-hime: Well, ::blush:: we like to keep our modesty. You can have a seat over in that section. Menus are already at the tables. Usagi: Arigato, hime. Both Mamoru and Usagi walk over to the section pointed out to them and spot a familiar child sitting alone with many sweet snacks around the table. Usagi: Chibi Chibi! Chibi Chibi: Chibi chibi! Chibi chibi! Mamoru: Okay, Usako, you sit here and I will order us something to eat. Be right back. Usagi: Hai! Chibi Chibi, you have cake? Tea too? Ohhhh, I hope Mamo-chan gets back with the food soon ::groan:: I'm sooo hungry. Hm, maybe Chibi Chibi...? Usagi starts eyeing the young child's delicious looking snacks, especially the huge piece of cake sitting close to her but a familiar voice makes her hand stop short. Luna: Usagi-chaaaaan. Usagi: Luna! You're here too? Luna: Yes, now leave that child's food alone. Mamoru-san will be back with your food soon so just cool it. Usagi's eyes begin to water and her lip quivers. She can no longer suppress her feelings and begins crying loudly. Luna gives up and and walks away shaking her head. Chibi Chibi looks up curiously and hands her a doughnut. The girl ceases her crying and thankfully takes the food offered by the young child, then inhales the food in one gulp. -- END SCENE 1 -- -- SCENE 2 -- The small black cat walks around the cafe shaking her head with thoughts of the blond odando-atama. Her mind is so full with thought that she is not paying attention to the fact that she has wandered backstage. Luna: How can that girl be so mature one minute and then totally absurd the next-- Yaten-kun! ::blush:: Yaten: Luna, what's up? Luna: I...I... didn't realize I had made my way backstage. ::blushing bright red:: Yaten: Ah, that's okay, my favorite kitty. Luna: Now that I'm here, I might as well tell you. The girls wanted to ask if they could come back and see you all before you went on-stage. With the amount of other fans here I don't know how to sneak them back without starting a riot. Yaten: I have an idea. Let's go. He bends down and extends his arm to the cat. She quickly climbs up and perches on his shoulder like she has done many times with Usagi. Yaten comes out from behind the curtain. Silence falls upon the cafe as all eyes fall on the cherished idol-singer, then he speaks in his feminine, yet sexy voice. Yaten: Who wants autographs? After an added second of silence from the shock of Yaten Kou offering this, every teenage girl makes a mad dash towards the white haired idol. He winks at the four girls huddling together not too far from the crowd. Rei, Ami, Makoto and Minako, without hesitation, start to make their way the back. Usagi spots them and becomes quite curious. She gets up and runs after them, just getting to the door as it shuts. With no time to stop she smashes into it, face first. After rubbing off the pain, she meekly opens the door and steps inside. -- END SCENE 2 -- -- SCENE 3 -- Usagi creeps through the darkness of the hallway, keeping to the shadows in order not to be seen. She spots a light from a slightly opened door and peeks in suspiciously. There her friends are giggling and talking loudly. Then she looks to the other part of the room and sees Taiki Kou talking to them. Usagi can feel her skin heating up from anger. Usagi: (thinking) Grrrrrr.... how could they not tell me??? She lets out a scream as something taps her on the shoulder. Her cover has been blown and she turns to see the person who would do such a thing to her. Usagi: Seiya! Seiya: Oi, Odango, what'cha doing in here? Usagi: Only Mamo-chan can call me that! He grabs her arm forcefully and she starts yelling out of fear and anger. The others in the room are now more than curious as to what's going on but before they can have a look, Seiya pushes the door open and pulls Usagi inside. The girls eyes widen. Makoto: U-u-usagi-chan? Ami: What's up, Usagi-chan? Usagi: (yelling) How could everyone leave me out? Rei: We didn't think you'd give up your date with Mamoru-san to come. Minako: (whispering) That's right, you already have Mamoru-san. You shouldn't be chasing after the Lights. We got first dibbs. Usagi: That's not it! I- A small black cat tip-toes into the room and Usagi catches her. Usagi: Luna! You knew about this! Luna: ::sweat drop appears:: Usagi-chan, I um... ah.... Seiya: Odango, I didn't know you cared. Usagi's eye's widen in horror as she becomes silent. She realizes where everyone is going with this conversation and doesn't like it. Quickly she recovers. Usagi: Mamo-chan's much more handsome than you, Seiya! He rolls his eyes but before a fight can start up between the two, red hair flashes from the doorway. Kakyuu-hime stands there and everyone silences. She smiles gently as she holds a sleeping Chibi Chibi in her arms. Kakyuu-hime: It's time. -- END SCENE 3 -- -- SCENE 4 -- The lights dim for long moments as the stage is set up. Stage hands quickly perform their duties and scurry off the stage. From out of the darkness two figures emmerge. As the lights flicker on once more, there stand Taiki and Seiya. Yaten rushes away from the screaming fans and joins the others on stage. The anticipation grows as everyone takes their seat. Kakyuu-hime sits down with Chibi Chibi in her lap to. Usagi finds her seat again where Mamoru is waiting with her burgers and drink. They share a smile and begin to eat even through the excitement around them. Together they watched and wait eagerly. The lights start to blink on and off as the three singers are introduced. The names can hardly be heard over the screaming teenagers in the cafe and Mamoru can barely make them out: Taiki, Seiya, Yaten! Rei, Minako, Makoto and even Ami are calling out to the lights excitedly. As Usagi looks across the cafe, she notices other familiar faces there as well. Haruka and Michiru, Motoki onii-san and his sister Unazuki, Naru, Umino and many others. The first song of the event starts and the screaming fans don't stop even after the show has ended and the Three Lights have receded behind the stage curtains. After most of the crowd has died down the four girls approach the couple to say their good-byes. After they are gone, a smile is shared by Usagi and Mamoru. Usagi: Well, Mamo-chan? Mamoru: They sure do know how to put on a show, Usako. The couple rise from their seats and Mamoru offers his arm which Usagi gladly accepts. As they walk towards the doors Seiya meets them. He has changed clothes and is wearing cool shades now. The couple stop short in surprise. Seiya: Odango, Mamoru-san. Usagi: Seiya, Mamo-chan liked your show. Seiya: Did he? Mamoru: Yes, you three play very well. Seiya: Will you be coming to the next show then? Usagi: Mamo-chan, Mamo-chan, can we come to the next show? Mamoru: ::smile:: Alright. Usagi: (excitedly) YES! See you tomorrow then. Seiya: Bye, Odango! Mamoru: tomorrow? (looking into his wallet) Usagi: Bye Seiya! ::giggle:: Thank you, Mamo-chan. She wraps her arms around his waist and squeezes gently. He returns her affection in a warm embrace. A smile crosses his face as they part. Then she takes his arm once more and they walk out of the cafe doors together. -- END SCENE 4 -- -- SCENE 5 -- From inside, Kakyuu-hime watches them walk further and further until they are out of sight. Then she turns her head back to the table where she is sitting. The small group begin to drink some tea and reminisce over the events of the day. Chibi Chibi is still asleep in Kakyuu-hime's arms and she watches with gentle eyes. Then she looks at Seiya who has changed back into her female form for her princess. Kakyuu-hime rests her head on Figther's chest. They both smile. Kakyuu-hime: What beautiful dreams she must have. Fighter: All sleeping children have wonderous dreams. Kakyuu-hime: No, I meant Usagi. Fighter: Tsukino Usagi... She has dreams that surpass all others. Hers are the pure love of everyone and they are eternal. -- END SCENE 5 --
