Chapter Six: The Battle Begins

	Sailor Doom appeared from the portal he had opened up, appeared right above the buildings wrecked by Goku’s wild surge of power. He looked down, saw his targets.
	Those damnable Sailor kids and their friends, the traitorous Frieza, like Sailor Doom really trusted him. But, he thought to himself, where was that monkey-tailed man? The man who was the key to his success? Ah, well. He will just kill those stupid kids first. 
	“Time to die,” he hissed to himself. Black energy gathered in his hand.

	“Father, you came home! Where have you been all this time? What took you so long? Is the great dragon Shenron with you? Are the Dragon Balls back?” Gohan continued to carry on with such questions for a good few minutes. Goku could only smile.
	“Shenron isn’t with me, son. I don’t know where the Dragon Balls are.”
	“Well, what took you so long to get back home?” Chi Chi asked he husband sternly, that deadly housewife look in her black eyes.
	“We better go talk about this with the others…” Goku said, referring to the Z Fighters.
	
	An hour later, the Z Fighters were reunited. Vegeta, his wife Bulma, their son, Trunks, and their daughter Bra were there. Piccolo, the Namek, was there as well. Goku’s best friend, Krillin, was there, along with his wife, Android 18, and their daughter, Marron. Yamcha, Tein, Puar, Oolong, and Chaou-zu were there as well. Even Dende, the new Guardian of the Earth, and Mr. Popo were there.
	The Son family was finally reunited with their friends. Son Goku, Son Gohan, Son Goten, Chi Chi, Ox King-Goku’s father-in-law-and Pan and Videl were sitting at the table, surrounded by their old friends. 
	“Kakurot, you dog, you finally came back in one piece!” Vegeta said, calling Goku by his 
Saiya-jinn name.
	“Welcome back, Goku!” Krillin was on the verge of tears, seeing his old friend once again.
	A sharp knock came at the door. Chi Chi went to open it. A short, blue-skinned man was standing in the doorway, a monkey beside him, and a cricket floating above him.
	“Kaio-samma!” Goku, Tein, Yamcha, Chaou-zu, Dende, Krillin, and Mr. Popo exclaimed at once upon seeing the trio. 
	“Hello, my friends!” Kaio said warmly in greeting. 
	“How…?” Goku asked, bewildered.
	“How did you get here?” Tein asked, equally confused.
	“I thought you had to stay on your own planet!” was Chaou-zu’s remark.
	“Oh, pish-posh! I can come here whenever I want to, don’t you know!” Kaio-samma looked at the confused congregation. Obviously, they didn’t know. “Well! Ho hum! I’m here to send all of you to another dimension to help stop an evil man from becoming a God!”
	“WHAT!!” The combined shrieks of the entire house, with the exception of Goku, were deafening. 
	“What?” Kaio looked at everyone innocently, his black glasses glittering. “Didn’t Goku tell you?”

	Half an hour later, the Z Fighters all stood outside, in the lawn. Vegeta looked at Kaio. 
	“So, we are going to try to stop a madman from attaining God-hood in another version of Earth.” It was a statement, not a question. Kaio nodded.
	“Well, how hard can it be to stop a madman?” Gohan asked. “We beat Frieza, and he was as wacko as they come!”
	“Um…” Goku began. “We’re going to be fighting alongside Frieza…”
	The others looked at Goku. “I’m not even going to ask,” Gohan said with a sigh.
	“Well, we better get going.” Kaio lifted his arms, blue lightning jumping from his palms, striking the ground, and opening a blue vortex on the ground. “All right,” he yelled above the din of the vortex, “Everybody jump in!”
	Vegeta, Trunks, Krillin, Gohan, Goten, Piccolo and Android 18 all leaped into the vortex, vanishing. Goku looked at the others, who were staying behind because they were retired from the fighting business.
	“Don’t worry,” Goku said to the others. “Well be back soon!”
	“Goku!” Kaio yelled to him, “I opened the portal so that you would land in the alternate Earth three seconds after you left! The portal will only be open on that end for five hours, so make sure you get back through that portal by then!”
	“Okay!” Goku said, giving him a thumbs-up sign. He jumped into the vortex.
	“Oh! Goku!” Kaio yelled into the vortex. “GOOD LUCK!!”

	The vortex opened up in front of Sailor Doom, who was flying straight at the unobservant Sailor Scouts, and Frieza, who was busy grumbling about this chain of events.
	Goku flew out, followed by his friends.
	Sailor Doom stopped in his tracks. “The hell!” he hissed.
	“Hi!” Goku said cheerily. “You must be Sailor Doom! I’m Goku! I’m here to fight you!” Goku ended his greeting with a swift punch to Sailor Doom’s midriff. The blow sent Sailor Doom spiraling down into the concrete.
	“Its Sailor Doom!” Drizzt’s twin scimitars leapt from their sheaths in the blink of an eye. Guen growled. Drizzt and the panther leaped at their enemy, scimitar blades whirling, panther claws raking. 
	“Here we go again! Moon Scepter Elimination!” Sailor Moon yelled.
	“Shine Aqua Illusion!” 
	“Mars Celestial Fire Surround!”
	“Jupiter Thunder Clap Zap!”
	“Venus Love Chain Encircle!”
	Derrak squeezed off five pistol shots in rapid succession, each bullet striking Sailor Doom a minor hit, but a hit nonetheless.
	The incredible barrage weakened the unprepared Dark Sailor, but soon the evil man was back on his feet and ready for a fight.
	“You got lucky on those shots, Sailors,” Doom growled, “I will win out, however, no matter how many allies you gain!”
	“That’s what you think!” Vegeta roared. His hair turned gold and stood on end, his eyes turning into a green color.
	“I’ll follow you’re lead, Father!” Trunks said to Vegeta, and also screamed out, his hair also turning gold, and his eyes also changing to green.
	“Gohan, Goten! Transform now!” Goku said to his two sons. The three men all started changing. Their hair turned gold, eyes green. The Super Saiya-jinn were ready for a fight.
	“Goten, Trunks! Fusion right now!” Gohan yelled to the two youngest Saiya-jinn. 
	Goten and Trunks started doing a little dance in the air, ending with the words, “FUUUUSION HA!!!” The two young men clashed bodies, and a blast of light erupted. When it cleared, Gotenks, the Fusion Warrior, floated in the air, washboard stomach openly displayed. 
	“Alright, now!” Gotenks cried, both Goten’s and Trunks’s voices merged together to make Gotenks’s voice.
	“Vegeta!” Goku yelled. Vegeta understood.
	“FUUSION HA!!!” Vegeta and Goku yelled, their bodies clashing. The merged form of Vegeta and Goku was Gogeta, Ultimate Fusion Warrior.
	“Now we are ready, Sailor Doom,” Gogeta said to the shocked Sailor Doom.
	“I will not be defeated so easily!” Sailor Doom hissed. “I didn’t want to do this, but your little power-up has left me no choice! I will be Mistress Nine’s power source! Prepare yourselves! With my destruction, Mistress Nine, the ultimate Warrior, will live!” Sailor Doom extended his arm then punched himself! Blood oozed from the wound in his chest, splattering on the ground. He opened a portal to hyperspace near his bleeding body, and let his lifeblood drain into the portal. 

	Mistress Nine’s inanimate body was bathed in the blood of Sailor Doom, as the Dark Sailor let his blood flow into the portal, which flowed onto Mistress Nine. The evil warrior-woman’s eyes snapped open, her body recharged by the blood of a true Warrior, by the energy of centuries of hard training and fighting. The warrior woman moved her arms, her legs, and flew up, up, into the open portal.
	
	“She comes,” Sailor Doom promised. “She comes, and she will kill. Mistress Nine is uncontrollable except by me. But, because I kill myself as a sacrifice to her, no one can control her! She will destroy your planet, and she will ravage your universe! No one can stop her! No one can control her! EXCEPT ME! With my death, I bring about your own!” Sailor Doom collapsed, and let out his last breath.
	Sailor Doom was dead.
