I have made some new ground rules for submitting fanfiction due to some problems with my previous setup. You need to do follow these directions if you wish to submit fan fics to The Tour. If these rules are not followed it makes it terribly difficult and I cannot post them.
:: basic guidelines ::
- Your story must be complete or near completion if you wish to post it on the Tour. If your story is less than six chapters please have it complete before submitting.
- I do not post images/illstrations with fanfics. Please do not include them with submissions.
- Your story must NOT contain any HTML coding in it because I post these files in TXT format. Also, please add line breaks or it will not be posted! Click here for directions on how to do line breaks.
- Attach files to the e-mail. Do not "copy and paste" any stories into the actual e-mail. If you are an AOL user, attach files as if you were attaching a zip file. Thanks!!
:: submitting your fanfic ::
- Send me an email containing:
- a. Your real or screen name. (the one you want posted)
- b. Your full e-mail address. (make sure it works or is accessable)
- c. The TITLE of your story and how many chapters it includes/will include.
- d. Based on English Dub or Japanese anime --OR-- Japanese or MIXX Manga.
- Give your fanfic a rating.
- G - General (for all ages)
- PG - Parental Guidance (mild violence, mild language)
- PG-13 - Parental Guidance (violence, language, possible sexual reference)
- Give a short description of your story. One to four sentances should suffice.
- a. Your real or screen name. (the one you want posted)

:: how to do line breaks ::
First, set the font to size twelve. Next count out 70 characters [ex: abcd = 4 characters; efghij = 6 characters]. Then, set the right margin to that point, or just a couple characters after, then hit enter at the end of every single line that is about to the line above. If you DON'T take the time to make sure that your lines wrap, then I won't take the time to do it for you, and therefore your story will look REALLY bad and I might not post your story.
:: omake ~ all that extra stuff ::
I reserve the right to reject ANY fanfic for ANY reason at ANY time. This is my sole right as owner of this site and my opinions play on this. Please do not be discouraged, try again. Some of the biggest problems are that they are not formatted with the line breaks or all the chapters are put into one file instead of five separate files for each chapter. It makes it difficult if people do not follow the directions. Thanks for understanding.
Web browsers do not automatically wrap the lines in .TXT files, therefore they look terrible and are very unreadable. Whichever format you submit your story to me in it will be converted to txt. If you don't know how to format to 70 characters per line, I'll tell you.
Remember to send your information every time you send a fanfic, or part of a fanfic because I can't be expected to remember which fanfic goes with who, or what the title for the story is.
