Pretty girl soldier Sailormoon? Hi! As a lot of us already know, Bishojo Senshi Sailormoon (sometimes shortened to BSSM) means (or this is how most sites translate it) The Pretty Soldier Sailormoon. But if Bi is pretty of lovely, shojo is girl, and senshi is warrior or soldier, wouldn't it be The Pretty Girl Soldier Sailormoon? I think this is a very cute title, and maybe that's the reason it didn't catch on, it would be thought too cutsie for TV (even though that's almost impossible, look at Rainbow Bright (even though I love that show)) Or maybe it would be Pretty Soldier Girl Sailormoon? I've seen it translated that way before, but most people stick to The Pretty Soldier Sailormoon. I wonder why that is. Maybe they like the four word title. Maybe they think that the show sounds like it would be more for Chibi-usa fans if it was called that way. I guess I'll never know .^_^. Well, closing up, I would like to say that this article doesn't really mean to make a point, but to show my musings to the world. If you don't think that this makes sense, don't worry, it doesn't to me either.
