Okay, now let's see here. The senshi of death, pale, like lamps.......hmm I think Hotaru is goth. Right? NO!!! Tomoe Hotaru is NOT a goth, thank you very much. Let me address the reasons.

REASON #1-(She's the sailor senshi of death and rebirth.) Oh woohoo. If no one had noticed, death is a part of life, just like birth, pain and love. All things born eventually die.

REASON #2-(She's sooo pale) Well, where is she from? I think it's Japan, but ya know I'm not sure. (< ----Sarcasm) Well, some people are paler than others. i'm the palest person I know. Yet I'M NOT GOTH. And (this is not an ethnic slur so don't even start) a lot of Japanese people are pale.

REASON #3-(She's got that creepy healing power) And........? That is a cool power, and I wish I had it. It helps Chibi-Usa, and other people as well.

REASON #4-(She has no friends) Let's see here, shall we? Chibi-Usa, Usagi, Rei, Ami, Minako, Makoto, they all wanted the Outer Senshi tp spare her life. Sounds pretty firendly to me.

REASON #5-(She wears all black) I think black looks good on her. So really, I don't see the problem with wearing black. Plus wearing black doesn't make you goth, you know.

REASON #6-(She collects lamps!) Oh wow! Let me tell you, that's a good reason to call her goth! Personally, I would kill to have her room, with the dim lights and the awesome little lamps. Plus it's a play on her name. (Hotaru=firefly, lamps kind of look like fireflies.)

REASON #7-(She was the Messiah of Silence!) Was that her fault? Honestly? Did she ask to have her body taken over by Mistress 9? Didn't think so.
